MEDICAL CENTRE

The Reception Team would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being so understanding and supportive during December when we changed over to our new computer system.

We would like to also remind you that to save time and queuing at the desk you can now check yourselves in using the touch screen on the wall.  To do this the following is an example for John Smith born 26.12.1934.

New Member of the Nursing Team

Victoria Allaway has been appointed as a Practice Nurse.

Appointment of two new GPs:

Dr Balraj Sandhu and Dr Katherine Thomas have joined the practice, each working two days a week.

Dr Sandhu will be working Tuesdays and Fridays.

Dr Thomas will be working Monday and Thursdays.

DISPENSARY NEWS

Two new leadership roles have been created within the very busy dispensary team.  Janice Francis is now the Drug and Theraputic lead and Jacqui Harris is the Dispensary Co-ordinator.

The dispensary team would like to thank patients for their understanding and support during the changeover to the new advanced computer system.  Christmas is always a busy period and extra pressure was experienced due to computer issues.

PREMISES UPDATE

T he modified plans for the new Danbury Medical Centre have been approved.  The plans and information will be displayed in the surgery during April/May.
