U.K.
Extensive website of the largest UK diabetes organization.
Search facility. News of recent developments.
Pages include “What is diabetes?” This covers types I and II,
symptoms and risk factors and treatments. Important myths are
described concerning causes of diabetes, what you can and cannot eat
and restrictions the disease is supposed to put on your life. Also
covered are: living with the disease, suggestions for recipes, care
for patients, possible complications and what to do to help prevent
them.
